Sermon 1/5/2020 “Who came to the Christ Child?”
Matthew’s message in our lesson today is very plain: God uses the very universe to invite everyone to recognize and pay homage to the Christ Child. And, while God apparently gives us each the freedom to choose how to respond, the only appropriate response to God’s birth is to come with joy bearing gifts to worship the Child.
