Sermon 10/3/2021 “It’s all about community”
Today, we include children as full members of our community; who WE leave out often are the animals that God has placed in our lives. A little later today at Fort Ward Park we will bless whatever animals people bring, either actually bring or bring in their hearts. In this way we affirm that we are to be at-one with all of God’s creation, not as Lord and Master, but all with the same status—created by God—to be in relation with God and with each other. This is the blessing of creation, the blessing of relationship. Continue reading
